"Between the
ScareWindmill and occasionally using the screamers we have managed
to keep the geese off our beach about 95 % of the time."
Andy Cacossa, Newton, NJ
We
found the kite and windmills worked well for Canada geese when
used together but did not find the windmills effective when used
alone. We're now going to be using them on
turkeys in eastern Montana." Joe Weigand

"The
windmills have worked great on the turkeys. I haven't had to
use the sound system yet and hope I don't have to. Thank you,"
Bill Bostwick, Lily, WI
"The
ScareWyndmills were so effective at keeping crows out of my pecan
orchard, I didn't need the Bird Gard SuperPRO." William
Ritch, Cuchilla, NM
"The
windmills have worked great on starlings. We place them close
to the trees on the edge of the vineyard, and it does a great
job keeping them away." Jens Kullberg Stage

"I used the eagle
Jackite for Canada geese. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't seen
a sign of them. I've tried a lot of other things...but
there's nothing as effective as the eagle.Jackite."Bob Park

Tips for Controlling
the Canada Goose.*
1. Eliminate
any feeding of the geese by the public.
2. If possible,
leave the lawn unmowed.
3. Plant tall
fescue instead of tender Kentucky bluegrass.
4. Plant unpalatable
ground covers such as pachysandra, English Ivy, myrtle, and hosta.
5. Place large
stones, tall grass, or a short fence around the edge of a pond
to keep the geese from stepping up.
6. Provide more
bushes and hedges to reduce the goose's ability to detect predators.
Hedges will also discourage geese from walking between ponds
and feeding areas.
